Video Editor

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor who is proficient in both English and Arabic languages and has a strong background in videography and photography. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for visual storytelling, and the ability to work with various video formats and platforms. They will work closely with our creative media team to develop, edit, and produce high-quality video content for our clients and internal projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring a cohesive and engaging narrative.

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and scripts for video projects. 

• Manage and organize video assets, including archiving and cataloging. 

• Operate cameras and other video equipment to capture high-quality footage during shoots. 

• Edit and retouch photographs, ensuring professional and visually stunning results.

• Work with graphic design and animation teams to create motion graphics and visual effects. 

• Maintain proficiency in industry-standard video editing software and tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro. 

• Understand and adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style throughout projects. 

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality. 

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge content. 

Requirements: 

• Preferred to have a degree in Film, Media, or a related field. 

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing videography, photography, and editing skills. 

• Fluent in both English and Arabic languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom. 

• Experience with DSLR cameras, lighting equipment, and other photography/videography gear.

• Strong storytelling and narrative-building abilities. 

• Keen eye for detail and aesthetics, with a thorough understanding of color grading, pacing, and visual design.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 

• Excellent time management and organizational skills. 

• Knowledge of video compression and encoding techniques. 

• Familiarity with social media platforms, video hosting sites, and content delivery networks. 

• Willingness to learn new skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
