XP Music Futures – a 3-day music conference in Riyadh – has an opportunity for a Marketing Lead to join the team. XP is a pillar of MDLBEAST – established to accelerate MENA's music industry. Day programming includes panel discussions, hands-on workshops and fireside chats with music industry pros. Nite programming is dedicated to brands that helped grow the regional music scene – with music, live performances, dance cyphers and immersive experiences.
As part of the XP team you will lead on the delivery of the full XP marketing campaign, manage timelines and integrate with key stakeholders for an integrated campaign. You will work with a dynamic team and multiple partners to bring this campaign to life. Beyond campaign management, you will work closely with the XP & Creative team to effectively communicate the brand, annual event and initiatives.
You will:
Marketing
Work with Programming Head to delivery the full XP marketing campaign – including the annual event, smaller workshops, multitude of initiatives in the lead up to the event
Manage the master timelines for all marketing and communication for XP
Work with key stakeholders to deliver integrated campaigns across MDLBEAST
Support in marketing budget management
Work closely with the Creative team on developing and delivering campaign
Brand Activations
Support in the development of brand activations efforts for XP Music Futures
Create innovative, targeted and creative executions to drive brand activation, awareness, connection and engagements
Create & lead brand activation strategy as part of bigger MDLBEAST strategy
Lead on briefing and managing work with agency partners
Partner & Sponsor Marketing
Work with the Partnerships team in developing industry-relevant relationships with sponsors & partners
Support in integrating sponsors and partners into programming
Brief & co-manage relationship with agency partners
Community Marketing
Lead all community marketing aspects as part of campaigns
Integrate community marketing efforts into overall campaign flow
Ideate, conceptualise and delivery community marketing projects
Media & Innovation
Support in the delivery of campaign creative to the media buying team and contribute to the strategy across traditional and innovative applications
Stay on top of global innovation trends in media & activation
Proactively ideate and propose innovative, and globally-relevant activations
Measure & track and optimize all experience marketing budgeting
You are:
A marketing manager, with 7-10 years experience in event marketing, activation & brand management
Passionate about music & plugged into the region's creative community
Someone with a track record of innovative campaigns, ideas & media activations
Able to manage and lead multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
Able to effectively communicate and present ideas – verbally & visually
Someone with a strong understanding of the cultural nuances in the region, underground culture and how they intersect
Proficient in English & Arabic
Diligent project manager & leader
